MARTIN'S IMPRESSIVE FOOTBALL RECORDOn 8th September 2007, Martin sang the national anthem at the first ever competitive England international to be held at the new Wembley .. the Euro 2008 qualifier vs Israel. And yet again, England won (3-0) making it five wins out of five when Martin has sung the anthem and still no goals conceded!! MARTIN ACHIEVES ANOTHER FIRST AT WEMBLEYOn 26th April 2008, Martin sang the national anthem at Wembley before the first ever England schoolboy international back at the new stadium. The firsts, however, don't end there because not only did he sing Nessun Dorma on the pitch as a moving tribute to England's only ever world cup winning captain the late Bobby Moore, but he also achieved a personal first by actually playing football on the pitch for a celebrity England XI v Scotland XI at Wembley. According to his son who was there to watch, Martin should "stick to singing!" For the records, England won 2-0!
